The One Year Anniversary Mark of Matsunosuke.com
"All of us at Matsunoske.com would like to thank each and every one of our members for their overwhelmingly generous support and encouragement throughout the past year. We will continue to work to improve the web site content; it is our goal to be useful to the membership. We will provide better means for our members to receive, first hand, information for Koi appreciation and Koi keeping. In addition to the new study materials, there will be interesting opportunities to participate in direct communication with Matsunosuke via Auctions and Study Trips. Once again, a heartfelt thank you".

MATSUNOSUKE.COM 2003 CONTENTS
APPLICATION OF BASIC STUDIES
MATSU OF THE MONTH
Matsunosuke.com will now provide "Featured Koi" where a specially chosen Matsunosuke is discussed. For these pages Matsunosuke (Sakai) will select the Featured Koi and will provide his comments, its potential, and his appreciation. Featured Koi will employ the basic Koi knowledge posted throughout the past year on this web site. Specifically, this is an opportunity to apply basic knowledge to practice. Hobbyists will be able to and are encouraged to ask questions, or provide comments, to Matsunosuke on the Featured Koi.
SPECIAL OFFERS FOR MATSUNOSUKE MEMBERS
MATSU AUCTION
Periodically, an Internet auction of Matsunosuke will be offered exclusively to the Members. The minimum bid will be kept reasonable for the benefit and enjoyment of the members. Members may participate in the auction after they study the posted pictures of the auctioned Koi, and its description.
MATSUNOSUKE SPECIAL
Members will have access to special Matsunosuke Koi food, “Matsunosuke Special”.
NISHIKI KOI STUDY TRIP TO NIIGATA AND ISAWA
Study trips will be organized twice a year: late-October and mid-March. The purpose of these study trips is for the hobbyist to develop an eye for the Koi and to receive hands-on training from Matsunosuke.
The autumn study trip will include attending the harvest, harvest auction, and celebration of the harvest. Whereas, the spring study trip participants will experience the cultural and aesthetic aspects of the Japanese Nishiki Koi culture in a setting of Plum blossoms and healthy rejuvenating Japanese hot spring resort in Isawa.
ADDITIONAL STUDY MATERIAL
GLOSSARY
Matsunosuke will provide and explain the definitions of many of the Japanese Koi terms used among the Nishikikoi professionals. These definitions will include not only a common understanding of the terms, but also a broader and deeper understanding of the terms from Sakai San’s perspective. This glossary will be built up gradually, with graphic images provided whenever necessary. Hobbyists will be able ask and confirm the correct usage of these terms.
TREATMENTS, CURE, AND CARE

This section will cover the specific signs that the
hobbyist must look for to provide preventive Koi
healthcare. Sakai San will teach how to recognize
